Hello to whoever is reading this. I hope that the cold winter temps haven’t got you down. It is Minnesota and as a Duluthian I guess I’m used to it. I have started the preliminary work for the first Real Estate Investment Clubs in Duluth, MN. Please email me if you would like to join (adam@teamswor.com). If someone knows of one, or are in one I apologize for my naivity. I am a Real Estate Professional in the Duluth area and I have decided to start my own club. I have yet to decide on a time or place but that will be forth coming. If anyone out there doesn’t know what a real estate investment club is I’ll give a brief explanation.
A REIC for short is simply a group made up of people with interest in all areas of real estate investment. You could be a banker, a real estate agent, or anyone that would like to invest in real estate. At the clubs meetings it would have a loose agenda and possibly a speaker and then the floor would be open to talking about recent experiences or questions anyone might have that the rest of the group could either answer or research. I also envision having a book club part of the agend where we are all reading the same real estate investment book and each week we a moderator asks some key questions about the agreed upon reading and everyone would have a chance to way on in with their point of view.
Those of us with a fierce need to be independent and take control of where their income comes from now and in the future would benefit from a club like this.
